Welcome to the Winged Pride, the resting place of my Avaydia. Aurican is for the most part the 'leader' or go to guy around these parts, but don't be afraid of heading to any of them for directions or a bit of a chat. They are mostly a friendly bunch... mostly. Avaydia are a species that belongs to Gaiinawolf. All characters seen here have been created by her.
 | Aurican Male avaydia from a northern tribe. Aurican was thrown from his family at a young age by the dominant male of his pride. Not long after he found a pride for himself, but after years in it, he was defeated by a vicious male, and his pride was shattered. Aurican is grumpy, pessimistic, and antisocial at best. He hates being in the company of others, fearful of being hurt one third time. However, there is one female, the one that goes by the name Taeyrr*, who has warmed up his heart and made him slowly trust others again. Unlike most avaydias however, once Aurican met Taeyrr, he didn't look to spread his domain or his pride, as he has happily mated for life in a monogamous relationship with the bright colored female.  | Dageraad A
spunky little ball of fur and feathers and son to Taeyrr and Aurican, Dageraad is very much as active
and happy as Aurican was when he was his age. With the looks of his
mother, Dageraad is a brightly colored Avaydia who is happiest playing
with his sister, Maia. Too young to comprehend the world around him, he
constantly gets into trouble, curiosity tending to get the best of him
at times. Despite this, he means no harm, and has a rather noble code

 | Pandora A
surface Avaydia with a mutated half tail, Pandora is an eternally
happy, rather airheady female. Unlike most Avaydia, Pandora has only
known her mother and father due to the lack of Avaydias in the surface.
This, however, changed drastically as Aurican's home was destroyed and
he and Taeyrr had to fly to the surface. Unlike Taeyrr, Pandora isn't
exactly fond of Aurican, making the female unable to understand why the
bright orange one would be so infatuated and eventually mate with the
grumpy male. Their friendship eventually grew however, and now she
happily lives close to the couple along with her own mate, Xallen, who found them shortly after Humaeus was destroyed. Character and Art by Gaiinawolf |
 | Xallen Young and usually carefree, Xallen loves exploring with friends, especially this strange new world with a setting sun he has surfaced to. His love for company has made him peaceful and accepting, knowing that quarrels tend to lead to having parties separate themselves and possibly never see each other again, something he strives to never happen. Despite his rather young age, Xallen has a bit more knowledge of Humaeus than other avaydia his age due to his constant traveling, yet his lack of knowledge of the new world makes him rely on Pandora for information, usually sneaking off to further explore if Pandora deems a place unsafe, or convincing her to come along with him on an adventure. His travesties usually leading to trouble, he is constantly reprimanded by Aurican, whom he is always serenely apologizing to, knowing that he will unfortunately gain another reprimand in time due to his insatiable curiosity. Art of Xallen
 | Ayla Pandora and Xallen's daughter, and sister to Gaia, Ayla is tomboyish and fierce, showing her father's personality and need for adventure. Usually happiest when playing with the twins Dageraad and Maia, she enjoys poking fun at Dageraad and play fighting with him, showing her dominance over the male sometimes and at others losing. Unfortunately, Ayla is a sore loser, making her bitter and angry when she does. Created by Gaiinawolf |

 | Gaia Pandora and Xallen's daugher, and sister to Ayla, Gaia is as different to Ayla as night is to day. Unlike the outspoken, rambunctious Ayla, Gaia is soft spoken and shy, rarely uttering more words than she needs to say, and becoming easily flustered around strangers. Although Gaia tends to follow her sister around when she gets her little adventuring needs, she is much more content staying inside their nest sleeping next to their mother. Her shyness tends to extend even to those she knows, and she tends to grow especially flustered when around Dageraad. Created by Gaiinawolf |

 | Bakari Bakari is jumpy, nervous, and a bit demented... but one can't really blame him. Many years back, when he was a younger avaydia, him and his mate found an opening to the surface from Humaeus and proceeded to explore this strange world. After a few years of exploring, Meleria, his mate, soon had a young chirpling and asked to go back to Humaeus shortly before being killed by raptors. Bakari took the death of his mate and daughter (whom was presumed dead at the time) badly, and to inflict punishment upon himself, he refused to go back to Humaeus, exiling himself from the peaceful world he had come from. Unfortunately, with this exile, his mind soon started playing tricks on him, making him see and hear things, specifically his dead family, who kept hounding him and reminding him of how they were dead because of him. Enduring this for over five years, Xallen was the one who brought him out of his self inflicted torture when he unknowingly reunited him with his daughter. Pandora, having no hatred for him and understanding only too well his father's adventurous streak thanks to her own mate welcomed him to her home, becoming a healer of sorts to his hallucinations. The birth of his granddaughters, Ayla and Gaia, simply brought him further joy, soon turning him into the bumbling, playful fool he had been in youth. |
