The Pack

 Icey

The leader of the pack.  This she wolf is the proud mother of Dai and Cymbal.  Unlike the others, Icey has undergone much change, making her stronger in time.  She was my very first character, and was a gift I received quite some time ago.  I was not very smitten with her to be honest, as she was nowhere near my tastes.  However... something made me keep her.  After a couple of revamps, she has taken position leading the rest of my canines, trying to make sure there aren't too many scuffles among them, while making sure Dai and Cymbal behave.

Dai

Icey's pup.  This young female is very lazy and may sometimes come off as uncaring.  This is of course untrue.  She is just too young to realize how things affect the world around her still.  Despite this, Icey has great expectations of her gray child, as when problems break out, Dai seems to always have enough of a mind to find peaceful solutions.

 Cymbal

Dai's brother from a litter of four.  Much like his father, Cymbal is curious and a strong fighter, however, he has one fatal flaw.  Cowardice.  The poor pup tends to run away from anything he might think is harmful to him.  While his mother is perfectly fine with his extra sense of caution, he fears his father may not think as highly of him.

Lucius

Lucius is my one and only sparkle gloom dog.  He is a mixed breed shiba inu with border collie.  He is an energetic and playful, with an always happy disposition at hand.  He adores being the center of attention, but will not make a fuss if he is not, as he loves sharing the spotlight with his friends.  He is normally held back by Pumpkin on his mischief making, as she is normally the one who controls him and Meeka from getting into more trouble than they should get.

Meeka

My African wild dog character.  She is a young girl, at 1 year of age.  She is hyper and easily excited.  Needless to say, Lucius and her are best friends, despite their obvious difference in species.  Meeka gets easily jealous of her friends, and when Pumpkin first arrived to the group, she was definitely not her friendliest.  Now that she is used to her, Pumpkin is as much family to her as Lucius is.

 Selene

Daughter of an arctic fox and a silver fox, Selene is a quite, shy girl who has eyes only for Carsa, a dashing silver fox with eyes as blue as hers.  Having had a litter with him, the two are happily mated and have a quiet and rather uneventful life.

 Squall 

Selene's and Carsa's son.  The quickest of the litter, in more senses than one.  Unlike his father, Squall is a flirt.  He enjoys the company of multiple females and he has no problem showing off.  He believes himself to be the best looking of his littermates, not something they particularly enjoy him continuously bragging about.

Odin 

A fox with dragon dna in his blood.  He is believed to be the descendant of a great wyrm, spoken of in legends.  Whether this tales are true or not, it will never be fully uncovered, as despite his appearance, he is very much a fox.

Odin adores playing pranks on others.  His normal associate in this is Nasreddin, the little helpiglet that absolutely adores his company.  When those two are together, only chaos can be expected.  Pranks and all however, Odin never intends anyone any harm, as his pranks are silly and childish ones.

 Carter 

Pembroke welsh corgi mix.  A cattler dog ever since he was old enough for the job, just like his mother.  Carter was the unlucky pup in the litter to have his father's looks rather than his mother's, so he was the last to be sold.  Due to this, he worked his hardest to impress his owners, making certain that they did not regret their decision.  In turn, he turned into the best cattle dog in the area.

He lacks a collar due to having given it to his 'son', Mercurio, as he wished for him to stop feeling different, as he knew the feeling from his own days as a pup.

S'more

A bit of a loner, S'more isn't as distant as he looks, he just has trouble expressing himself without offending others.  Unable to lie, he is believed to be cursed by some, and blessed by others.  In his mind, the world would be better if there was no need to lie in the first place, as that would make him feel less awkward around others.

  Noche

Noche is a caring and sweet boy whom the heavens blessed with immortality at the time of his death, so he could continue caring for wolves the way he had in his life.  His eyes shining like the moon itself, Noche is ever silent, hunting down any that terrorize the life of a wolf.  His more common targets tend to be bears, as they have taken control of life in his home and rule with an iron paw, mostly feasting on young wolf pups while helpless parents look on.

Bluen

Tobi's pet dog, Bluen is a Collie/Old English Sheepdog mix.  True to her breed, she is friendly and ever playful.  Bluen is one of the few house pets that gets along with the street dogs that dominate the area she lives in.  This is mostly because of the fact that Doyle, the leader of the street dogs, has a soft spot for the blue gray girl.  Whether Bluen is aware of his affection for her or not is not known, but the young dog shows interest in the Rat Terrier mix and looks forward to his visits, waiting patiently in the porch every Wednesday afternoon for him to stop for a chat.

There is one thing this young girl dislikes above all else and that is water. She does not care how cooling it makes her skin feel on a hot day, the uncomfortable sensation of having a soaked coat afterwards makes it as unworthy it as a shoe that is too out of reach to nibble.

Akhlut

Evil is probably the best way to describe this fiendish creature.  Akhlut really doesn't have name, as his kind did not feel the need to name themselves.  Named by the natives of the land he plagued he is known to be a wolf on land, and an orca in water.  Howling into the setting sun, he lures out the hungry, imitating calls of animals they use for prey, and then he drowns them, feeding on their pain and fear.

Despite himself, Akhlut fell hopelessly in love with Anubis, the wolf of death, also known as the Grim Reaper's Companion.  He has shown to have a deeply caring side ever since he met the bandaged wolf and let his heart be snared.

Anubis

The Grim Reaper's Companion.  A shy and quiet wolf who prefers to let nature take it's course, he is neither evil nor good.  He doesn't believe in helping save a life if that life is meant to die in the mortal plain.  Enjoying to spend his days being petted and sleeping in the coolest of places he can find.  No one knows just how exactly he and Akhlut met, but he immediately gained an incredible sense of admiration for the black and white horned wolf, and after he won over his heart, him and the evil wolf have been mates.

Temperance

Known as the little angel by Anubis and as Satan's curse by Akhlut, Temperance was found by the couple in one of Anubis's soul collection rounds.  Unknown if she was a guardian angel, or a baby angel abandoned by God, Anubis took mercy on her and convinced Akhlut to keep and raise her.

Despite her guise of an angel, Temperance can be quite the troublemaker, and is no different to other pups.  Her halo and wings aren't visible to mortals, but despite this she has a celestial air about her that makes her roots impossible to hide from time to time.

Doyle

Dark sense of humor, a taste for pain for inflicting pain on his victims through his pranks, Doyle is easily one of the most despicable street mutts in the city. High ego, and a nasty attitude, the small rat terrier mix seems to have appeared out of nowhere. Some think that his hatred towards humans comes from having been dumped on the streets. Like most dogs, Doyle hates getting wet, and he hates the itchy sensation the nasty ticks give. He sometimes wonders if he should just try to find a human family to settle with again, but his deep resentment disallows for him to do this even for his own advantage.

The only dog who has ever been able to see the lighter side of Doyle is Bluen, a young collie/old English sheepdog mix that enjoys seeing the silver lining in everything. Head over heels over the pretty girl, Doyle tends to try to visit her a couple of times a week, as he tends to worry for her and what her humans might do to her, despite her humans having never mistreated her, a sign of his low view on the two legged creatures.

Alphonse

A fat excuse of a wolf, Alphonse is S'more's best friend.  This chubby, happy go lucky fellow is a bit of a womanizer, which tends to leave him with the cold shoulder more often than not.  Despite his womanizing ways, Al is harmless.  It is highly believed that he even pretends to be a womanizer, but when he is asked, he merely gives a cheesy grin along with the answer 'What cha see is what cha get!', which usually merits him an eye roll from S'more.

 Oliver

Son of Orbak and Auberon (belonging to Spotty and Kam), Oliver is brother to Huttson and Siri.  Sharing his sister's floppy ears and markings and his brother's colors, the three of them make a happy trio.  Taking after his father, Oliver is quiet and prefers to stay in the background, away from the noise.  His shy disposition doesn't help his cause.  Despite his love for quiet, he loves his mother very much, and has a large amount of respect for her.  His best friend is his brother, Huttson, whom lacks the shyness that Oliver and Siri have, but tends to be a bit more abrasive, resulting in fun for the brother duo.

 Halithersis

An eerie glow covers this mutt from head to toe, his blank, deep eyes giving chills to even the most heartless of demons despite his inability to see. Halithersis, or Hal for short, lives alone at the peak of Mt. Olympus, at the realm of the fallen gods of the old age, where he says that he can connect more with the spirits of nature, as well as escape the chaos and self inflicted pain of the mortal races that plague the earth. Unable to take on eternal rest, Halithersis has been the adviser of many a demon, angel, and spirit that comes to him for aid. Unfortunately, due to his young and animal physic, looking no older than a two month old pup, his advise more often than not falls to deaf ears, and his sight of the future ends in mockery of how a blind dog would never be able to predict anything further than the time his food is being served. As a result of this mockery of the seer, great wars have broken out, and grand empires have fallen to ruin.

To the few who know him and have shared a longer portion of his immortal life with him, Halithersis is a creature of strong character, and of a bitter, sarcastic and rather grouchy nature, with a sadistic sense of humor. Needless to say, Akhlut and the seer have been friends for as long as they have met, as while Akhlut is eternally violent and in seek of blood and revenge for his fallen Clan, their enjoyment of seeing the mortal races suffer bind them together, much to Anubis's distaste. Death's familiar much prefers calmer creatures, and despite being a bringer of death, like Halithersis, he stands on neutral ground, but without the rather disturbing taste for blood the glowing eyed blind one has. Hal's taste for blood comes from his constant disappointment in those who seek his help's mockery. When his advice is turned down, the blind dog will turn to Anubis, and relish in the news of a massive recollection of souls, a wicked grin on his face as he prefers to think that these inevitable breakouts of famine and pain are karma punishing those who do not give him the respect he so rightfully deserves.

Luna

Carter's daughter and Mercurio's little sister.  Luna is very affectionate towards her brother, and like the zonkey, she is fully convinced that the equine is just as much of a dog as her and their father.  This young puppy has more of a corgi look to her than Carter due to the fact that her mother is a pure blooded corgi, making her be more connected to the breed than her father.  Her bright purple eyes have a slight sectoral heterochroma on the right eye, giving her eye a teal look in that section.  Her owner's family keeps her more as a pet than a working dog, and as such, she is usually seen adorned with a bow that matches her eyes, riding on top of Mercurio, who happily trots around in his break from herding the rather confused cattle.

 Skle

A Native American dog/Wolf hybrid, although by his breed's standard's, this is actually normal, Skle is a proud, lofty pup that does not know when to back down.  He views other males as his enemies, and turns into quite a flirt when around females.  The one male whom seems to be able to get on his better side is a neighboring dog known as Oliver.  The two quickly got along, and a dejected Oliver was happy to have found a friend, no matter how violent this friend was.  Oliver has, however, been a positive influence on the young Skle, making him all around less of a threat to others, and less likely to get himself into a sticky situation that he might not come out of unscathed, serving as the voice of reason for him.

 Bunny

A good natured border collie, Bunny is rather on the quiet site for her breed, preferring to stay indoors resting.  A close by neighbor's of Luna's, Bunny loves going over to the corgi's house and playing, although she is continuously confused by the zonkey named Mercurio whom her friend keeps referring to as her brother, and who seems to be under the impression that he is a dog.  Luna's encouragement of this hoofed creature's trail of thought confuses Bunny further, but has convinced her that it is all just a game, and as such, she tends to be more than happy to play along.  She cannot help but feel a twinge of doubt when Dusty, the house cat, mutters as he passes them, mentioning how they are all mad to the bone.

Etheros

A Ruma Isi, Etheros has been alive for centuries, and takes great pride in his job, which is protecting the forest he resides in.  Known mostly to the wolves that live in said forest as 'the mysterious one', the wolves tend to fear him and ask for Noche's protection when it is rumored he might be nearby.  Despite Etheros wishing no harm on the wolves most of the time, there have been times he has brought great cataclysms to them, mostly when he fears that their numbers are too great and will ruin his forest.

Despite being older than Noche, Etheros looks up to the night sky pelted wolf, knowing of his wisdom, and sometimes trusting the spirit wolf on 'right and wrong' decisions more than himself.  He was one of the council that decided to grant Noche eternal life, and welcomed him to his forest as the guardian of the wolves when the cataclysms he created grew out of his control, mostly because he did not heed Halithersis's warnings against such actions.

 Zelos

One of the dogs from Doyle's gang, and his right paw dog most of the time.  Big and muscular, Zelos is a very big flirt, usually imposing himself on females with an air of self importance, but never resorting to force if declined, not something that happens often in the streets regardless.  Unlike Doyle, whom is the brains of the two, Zelos is pure muscle, eagerly baring his teeth and putting in place anyone who dares go against the smaller dog's wishes. 
It is believed that he used to be a police dog gone rouge, but these rumors have never been confirmed by him.  His intense knowledge of human behavior and distinct sense of smell and loyalty, however, tend to further kindle these mutterings among the lower ranking dogs.

 Cinder

A curious female wolf that was born in the same litter as Alphonse.  Cinder shares Alphonse's happy go lucky attitude but without the need to flirt with everything that moves.  She has a high interest in S'more and the curse that makes him speak nothing but the truth, finding it fascinating and enduring his accidental rudeness to herself and others, dismissing it as a personality quirk of his.  Because of his curse, Cinder knows the male wolf thinks highly of her and values her as more than just a regular friend, making her enjoy teasing him on a regular basis to avoid any awkwardness between the two.

 Callius

A young Rhamninzi, Callius is a strange canid species that appears to be mid evolution, eating fruit over meat for some reason, despite the evident cnines in their mouths.  Like the hearts in his eyes suggest, Callius is a flirt, unable to take anything too seriously and preferring to keep his days lounging around and teasing others of his species via their strange methods of communication.  While the rest of his litter was covered in blues and grays, Callius was born brown with a pale, cream face.  This makes him believe himself a handsome Rham, and in turn can be a bit obnoxious when around his siblings.

 Soarin

A Rhamninzi based on the MLP FiM Soarin.  Like the character it is based on, Soarin loves to eat more than anything else... except maybe fly.  Soarin claims his need to eat comes from all of the energy he burns in his daily routine, energy that is required to make it both amazing and useful.  Unfortunately for poor Soarin, there is no denying that pot belly look he gets after one of his famous pigging out meals.

 Milana

A beautiful, quaint, delicate Rhamninzi female that spreads love and joy wherever she goes, Milana is well known among the residents of the woods she lives in.  Her voice always being delivered in a sweet, songbird tune, she makes for an excellent companion, usually having her presence sought after by the many males that surround her, leaving them heart struck in her wake.  Callius is a particularly big fan of hers, constantly seeking her and following her around for an entire day at times.  Milana, gratefully, is always eager for these visits, as she is fond of having company from fellow Rhamninzi.  She is no fool, however, and will occasionally make them work for her presence  easily gaining food with little work needed on her side as all she needs is but ask and the males will be happy to oblige.

 Sohan

A mysterious and ruggedly handsome Rhamninzi, Sohan is the leader of the small pack of Rhamninzi's that lives in the Mist Forest.  Sohan has a calm, quiet quality to him, and despite his status as leader, can be quite insecure and shy.    Unlike most Rhams, Sohan has a unique taste for meat, particularly the meat of smaller game such as mice and rabbits.  This love for protein in his diet has made him a much more capable warrior than most other Rhams, capable of protecting them against the few threats they might encounter in the forest.  His communication is mostly done in the form of yips and barks, leaving chirps and more melodious sounds for the young.
